Hello! I’m Tracy Crisp, and this is my newsletter Naive Psychologist. I do have a psychology degree, but I’m not a psychologist.
Naive Psychologist is a weekly personal newsletter that is sometimes joyfully melancholic, other times melancholically joyful. We all agree that these are times of enormous change; and in my letters, I’m thinking and writing about how we make sense of things when things do not make sense.
I’m a writer, performer and funeral celebrant living part time by the beach in Adelaide/Tarntanyga on Kaurna Country and part time in a small house in the Clare Valley on Njadjuri Country.
I am currently working on a new piece for performance, Who Killed Gough Whitlam? to be launched at Adelaide Fringe 2026. Also in 2026, I’ll be launching my next book Pearls: Memoir Fragments, based on my previous six performance scripts.
